THE MEISNER TECHNIQUE
ACTING FROM TRUTH
Sanford Meisner defined acting as "living truthfully under imaginary circumstances." Everything in the Meisner Technique is built around that idea.
Rather than manufacturing emotion or planning responses, Meisner-trained actors learn to truly see their scene partner — and let what they see affect them. The result is performance that feels spontaneous, alive, and deeply human.
It is the foundation of everything we teach at Actors Academy. And for many of our students, it becomes something much bigger than an acting technique — a new way of relating to themselves and to others.

The One Year Training is coming to Oslo. After twelve groups in Helsinki, we're expanding across the Nordics, bringing deep Meisner training, top international coaches, and real industry preparation to Norway.
Applications are now open, and applicants will be the first to hear all program details.

THE ADVANCED ACTOR'S LAB
We are excited to launch for the second time: The Advanced Actor’s Lab — a high-level, international and diverse actor training designed for professional actors, Actors Academy One Year Training alumni, and other trained performers who are ready to challenge themselves and take their craft and careers to the next level.
Running from October 2026 to May 2027, the Lab offers advanced weekend intensives at the Helsinki studio and online sessions designed to take your craft to the next level. You’ll dive in and deepen the Meisner Technique work, tackle complex scene and character challenges, expand your vocal and physical expression, gain sharper on-camera technique, personally meet casting-directors and agents, and much more.

PART-PAYMENT AVAILABLE
When booking any workshop, event or paying for training tuition, you can choose part-payment by choosing Jousto (up to 3.000€) on the check-out, giving you the possibility to choose the monthly amount that is currently most suitable for you.
